The production process is vertical and sustainable: fabrics are free from formaldehyde and manufactured with respect for both people and the environment. Within this framework, l’Opificio is among the founding members of Slow Fiber, the network promoted by Slow Food that supports an ethical and responsible approach to textile production.

l’Opificio collections stand out for their sophisticated and distinctive color research, the use of fine yarns, and a strong decorative expression. Velvets and jacquards interact through articulated and versatile palettes, offering concrete design tools for the creation of unique, elegant, and contemporary interiors.

Alongside standard production, l’Opificio provides a highly specialized service dedicated to contract and hospitality projects, supporting architects, interior designers, and companies in the development of bespoke textile solutions. From color customization to the definition of technical specifications, each project is guided by a consultancy service that integrates design, performance, and the client’s brand identity.

l’Opificio offers its fabrics by the meter, by the roll, and made to measure, ensuring operational flexibility and reliable lead times—key elements in the international contract sector.

The offering is completed by the Home Haute Couture line, featuring over 300 original models of cushions, quilts, and textile accessories, fully customizable through an in-house tailoring service that allows for endless combinations of materials, colors, and finishes.

Over the years, under the artistic direction of Barbara Bertoldo, the company has collaborated with designers and creatives including Zanellato/Bortotto, Serena Confalonieri, Lanzavecchia+Wai, Elisa Seitzinger, Bruno Tarsia, Roberta Borrelli, Elisa Passino Studio, and Daniela Pinotti x STUDIOTAMAT, contributing to the definition of an ever-evolving textile language.
